Shacks Beach is for sun lovers, scuba diving lovers, and snorkeling lovers… home to the Blue Hole, a deep natural pool, an underwater playground made up of reefs, caves, with a healthy coral reef teeming with fish where various sea turtles call it home.  This beach is located in the town of Isabela, on the northwest coast of Puerto Rico.  The water is crystal clear and scuba divers can enjoy exploring the reefs in a fun cave system where fish play hide and seek.  The blue hole goes down more than 300 meters deep and full of hypnotic turquoise water. 

The beach is narrow but it rarely gets crowded on weekdays so you’ll have plenty of space to relax and play.  There’s not much shade but you’ll find a few hideouts under leaning palm and almond trees.  Parking is very limited, you’ll have to park out on a residential street and walk along a pathway, so pack light.
